Audio / Video Visual Support

Responsibilities

  • 1. Support campus events and activities that require A/V setup. 2. Maintain and troubleshoot audio, video, and lighting equipment. 3. Prepare and position audio, video, and lighting equipment for broadcasts and recordings. 4. Connect, tune, and configure A/V setups to ensure high-quality broadcasting. 5. Operate software to control A/V technologies. 6. Prepare teleprompters with scripts. 7. Monitor live feeds to ensure quality. 8. Find effective means to store and transport A/V equipment as and when it is needed. 9. Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and systems to effectively recommend changes, updates, and redesign of facilities. 10. Lead, guide, and train faculty, /students, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work. 11. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Experience

  • · A minimum of 2 years experience. · Expertise in video conferencing and broadcast systems. · Extensive knowledge of the architectural, cabling, and control system requirements of AV/V technologies. · ITIL knowledge is a plus.
