Dr. Ali Al-Kandari is Professor of Mass Communications. He was the Assistant Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and Dean of Admission and Registration, prior to assuming his current position as the Director of Research and Development at Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST). Before joining GUST, Dr. Al-Kandari served as a full-time faculty of Mass Communications and Program Coordinator of the Communication Department at Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida between September 2004 and June 2006. <p>After receiving his Bachelor in Political Science from Kuwait University 1996, Dr. AL-Kandari served as an editor of the political news in the Kuwaiti Television-Channel 1. Later, he worked on his dissertation that focused on political communication. At Edward Waters College and GUST, Dr. Al-Kandari has taught various introductory and advanced courses in Mass Communications and served in various committees.</p>
