About the Faculty Member

Khaled Almustafa received his B.E.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, M.E.Sc., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communication, from the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada, in 2003, 2004, and 2007, respectively. He worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), Laredo, Texas, USA. Currently he holds the position of Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), Kuwait. Previously, Dr. Almustafa worked as a Professor at Prince Sultan University (PSU) in the Department of Information Systems at the College of Computer Science and Information Systems (CCIS), Riyadh, K.S.A. His research interests include error performance evaluation of MIMO communication systems in partially known channels, adaptive modulation, and channel security, as well as text recognition models, control systems with renewable energy applications, and currently active in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) applications, and data preprocessing techniques.
