Dr. Yasean Tahat is an Associate Professor of Accounting. Dr. Tahat joined Gulf University for Science and Technology in September 2014. He has been a lecturer of Accounting Since 2003 where he worked as a full-time accounting lecturer for several universities including AL-Imam Muhamad University; King Saud University (KSA), University of Dundee (UK). Prior to joining GUST, Dr. Tahat was an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Al Al-Bayt University (Jordan). Dr. Tahat holds a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Dundee (UK). Dr. Tahat's main area of research is financial accounting. His research appears in several leading international peer-reviewed journals including Accounting Forum, Quantitative Review of Finance and Accounting, Advances in Accounting, and Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance.
