Khalil Nimer has a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Metropolitan University and master's and bachelor's degrees in accounting from Jordan. Khalil Nimer is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance at Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST). Besides, he voluntarily contributes to supervising some Ph.D. students in the UK. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in the academic field. He has published several papers in leading Journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Public Finance, International Journal of Disclosure and Governance, Scientometrics, Business Strategy and the Environment, and International Journal of Public Administration. He has also served as a reviewer for various academic journals including Technological Analysis and Strategic Management and Economic Letters. In addition, He is a holder of some prestigious professional certificates such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the IMA-USA and International Financial Reporting Standards Diploma (IFRS DIP) from the ACCA-UK.
