Faculty & Staff Member Profile

Holding position of Assistant Professor in finance in the department of college of Economics and Finance. I have completed my PhD in finance from Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland in 2018. My doctoral dissertation was based on stocks markets of the GCC countries and spillover effects. So far I have completed many articles published in well reputed journals. Currently I am conducting research on various financial issues regarding the Kuwait and the GCC countries. My academic training and nine years of experience working as a faculty at GUST prepare me to be an effective researcher and instructor. I am excited to share my experience and capabilities and strongly believe in collaboration that help grow the department. I look forward to the opportunity to not only teach existing courses, but also work to develop new ones.
