International Business Conference: Building The Future With Innovation, Technology and Sustainability

Gulf Financial Center (GFC) and the college of Business (CBA) at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) will host the first in-person business conference on the period from the 13th of May to the 15th of May with the title “International Business Conference: Building The Future With Innovation, Technology and Sustainability". This conference aims to bring together leading academics, industry experts, doctoral students, and innovative thinkers to explore several areas of research within the business environment such as Artificial intelligence (AI) in the business environment, Innovation, and sustainability. Besides, it encourages emerging scholars and doctoral students to provide feedback on draft research papers or extended abstracts related to the "Fintech and Digital Accounting Review" (FDAR) first issue. We welcome submissions not that not only address the above business areas but also into its broader business, economic, social, and ethical implications. This conference presents an unparalleled opportunity to showcase research, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations that will drive the future of business in the age of AI, innovation, and sustainability. Join us in this intellectual journey to explore and shape the evolving landscape of AI, innovation, and sustainability in business. As part of the conference, Keynote speakers, FDAR editors, and senior scholars will lead sessions and provide insights on publishing strategies and techniques, as well as in-depth feedback on selected papers. Given the duration and the interest in encouraging detailed feedback, there will be a limited number of accepted submissions. In addition, the representative of Emerald in the Middle East will provide a session and introduce our new journal to the audience.

Important Dates
- 15 March 2025 - Submission of extended abstracts or draft research papers for an initial review. Please use the Emerald style in your paper.
- 1 April 2025 - Notification of conference selection decision and initial feedback.
- 15 April 2025 - Registration deadline for the in-person attendance.
- 13th May – 15th May - Conference in Kuwait
Note: full papers accepted for the conference will go through the following stages:
- The best 10 papers will be published in the first issue of Fintech and Digital Accounting Review – Emerald, upon approval from the authors.
- The second 10 papers will be published in a book with the title "Building a Sustainable Future with AI & Fintech" published by Emerald and under Scopus.
- Other papers will have an opportunity, after the required modifications, to be submitted to the second issue of the "Fintech and Digital Accounting Review" journal.
