Our faculty are leaders in their fields, and our programs are designed to engage students in high-quality education across the humanities, sciences, and social sciences.

CAS comprises five departments: Computer Science, English, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mass Communication and Media, and Mathematics and Natural Sciences. We offer internationally recognized and accredited degrees in five majors. The Computer Science program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), the Mass Communication and Media program by the American Communications Association (ACA), and the three English programs by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).

CAS ensures that students have equitable access to academic and professional opportunities, equipping them for success in a rapidly changing world. We actively support research by providing seed funding and facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations. Additionally, we uniquely promote undergraduate research through faculty mentorship and student engagement.
