Flower of Service: Library Workshop

Ms. Wadhhah Ahmed, the digital content specialist at GUST Library, recently organized an interactive workshop titled “The Flower of Service.” In collaboration with Dr. Sam Toglaw, Assistant Professor in the College of Business Administration, and his business students, the workshop provided a valuable opportunity to explore their perspectives on the library.

During the workshop, our library’s services were presented as examples for marketing concepts, encouraging participants to consider both core and supplementary services. It is Understand the needs of GUST Library patrons is essential for continuous improvement.

A survey, distributed via QR code, aimed to identify enhancements for the GUST Library’s “Flower of Service” and collect basic data on library visit frequency and purpose. The library team was impressed by the creativity displayed by some students, who contributed captivating drawings and petal arrangements. The event was made even more enjoyable as students brought their own real flowers.
