GUST Library Hosts Workshop on Textbook Request Process

On October 30th and November 4th, the GUST Library held a two-day workshop to guide faculty members through the textbook request process. The session opened with a warm welcome from the Senior Library Manager, J'Amy McCracken who emphasized the Library’s commitment to supporting both faculty and student needs. Mr. Hassani, Information Specialist, led an informative presentation detailing each step of the textbook request process to ensure easy access to essential course materials.

A representative from Afaaq Bookstore, GUST's valued partner, also attended, further strengthening collaborative efforts in sourcing and supplying textbooks. As a gesture of support, Afaaq distributed complimentary access codes for VitalSource e-books as a welcome gift to all attendees.
