GUST Library Presents Insights and Resources at BELC Conference
M/S Wadhhah Ahmed, Digital Content Specialist at GUST represents our Library
resources and services at the recent BELC Conference for French teachers'
training program, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and
the French Embassy in Kuwait.
During her presentation, there was a valuable and insightful discussion
about information overload, the challenges of utilizing online resources, and
the importance of conducting ethical research. She also explored the potential
journey of graduate studies in France for teachers, highlighting the necessity
for access to an inclusive space during the summer. This space should encompass
extensive print and digital collections, research-supporting services, and
librarian assistance, all of which are readily available through external
memberships with the GUST Library.
On behalf of GUST Library, she expressed sincere gratitude to Carine Zanchi
and Manal Hosny for including us in this enriching event.
The BELC training courses are renowned internationally for their prestige,
offering French language teaching professionals intensive training in the
latest professional techniques and providing opportunities to explore new
practices that support dynamic career development. This commitment to
supporting French teachers underscores the profession's ability to unite us
despite our differences.
