GUST Library Celebrates the Inauguration of the Korean Corner
GUST Library proudly unveiled the Korean Corner, a remarkable addition made possible through the collaboration between GUST and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kuwait.
This initiative symbolizes our commitment to cultural diversity and global partnerships, enriching teaching, learning, and cross-cultural understanding. It also serves as a lodestone for building sustainable relationships with the Republic of Korea, paving the way for future collaborations with their academic and industrial sectors. These partnerships are designed to enrich our students’ experiences and create opportunities for impactful faculty collaborations.
The inauguration was graced by His Excellency Ambassador Park Chong-suk, whose unwavering support brought this vision to life, and Professor Bassam Alameddine, GUST’s president, whose leadership continues to inspire excellence.
Wadhhah Ahmed, the Digital Content and Engagement Librarian served as the MC for the event. She proudly represented GUST Library and highlighted its dedication to fostering global engagement. Special thanks to J’Amy McCracken, our Senior Library Manager, for her vital role in this project, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Haddad, whose invaluable contributions ensured its success.
GUST students and faculty are invited to visit the Korean Corner, explore its authentic resources, and engage in the spirit of cultural exchange it represents.
