GUST Library Engages with 'Live Your Major' Students in an Inspiring Discussion
The GUST Library recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Dr. Shahd Alshammari’s Live Your Major Modern Poetry course, bringing an insightful discussion to students on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our digital content specialist and Engagement Librarian, Wadhhah Ahmed, explored how emotional intelligence nurtures the key traits that align with these global goals, initiating meaningful conversations on literature’s role in fostering global awareness and interconnectedness.
A key highlight was the introduction of the library’s Reflection Zone, a dedicated space featuring carefully selected books and resources to support student projects for this course.
We look forward to welcoming Dr. Shahd’s students to the GUST Library for continued research and discussion. Best of luck to all in their academic journey!
