Constellate: Trial Extension!
GUST library is excited to announce that Constellate trial is extended and will be available through the end of 2024.
Constellate, part of nonprofit ITHAKA, has designed a 10-week long skill-build for all levels of learners that culminates in a capstone project. Constellate’s skill-build 2024 also teaches data literacy classes to instructors who want to learn how to teach text and data analysis in their classrooms and workshops.
Registration for Constellate’s first-ever skill-build program is open. The skill-build program starts in September and includes a series of scaffolded live and asynchronous classes over three months, covering topics from Python basics to automated text classification using ChatGPT's API to teaching data literacy.
Our entire GUST community is welcome to attend. All events will be recorded and available to registrants, so if users get a late start, they can catch up. Anyone that completes a project with them will earn a badge (suitable for including in a CV, LinkedIn, or other website).
You may attend the entire program or register for specific individual events through their events page (Events | Constellate).
Participants are welcome to join the team in their Slack community, here. All recordings are available in the Slack channel for each class.
