Celebrating Scholarly Excellence: GUST Faculty Publish Two Groundbreaking Books
The Library at Gulf
University for Science and Technology is honored to congratulate Dr. Abrar Alenzi of GUST and co-author Dr.
Randa Diab-Bahman from Kuwait Technical College on their recently
published books. These female faculty are powerhouses! Scholarly
communications in the discipline of business frequently mean journal articles
but these women published TWO books in AY 2023-2024.
"The Handbook of Business Essentials - Middle
East Edition" is designed to simplify complex business terminology for
students, featuring both English and Arabic translations within the same
volume. This handbook is special for drawing on case studies from Middle East
businesses that local students and faculty will more closely relate to.
"Global Citizens and Their Impact on
Multiculturalism in the Workplace", indexed in Scopus, discusses new
challenges to the workplace and challenge our understanding of the concept of
diversity and multiculturalism in the age of global citizenship.
The library would like to extend a very special “Thank you” to
Prof. Jean-Paul
Arnaout Dean of the College
of Business Administration and Dr. Nasreddine
Saadouli Department Head of
Business Administration for their participation in this event by acknowledging
and congratulating the achievements of these two amazing professors. It was also a delight to hear from our special
guest, Dr. Reem AlQenai Head of Foundation
- Director of Library & Resources at Kuwait Technical College. Her pretense
truly made this launch a remarkable collaboration.
