CS Department Participation in KCPC 2024
Two of the CS department's teams earned silver medals at the Kuwait Collegiate Programming Contest (KCPC) 2024, held at KCST from 10 to 12 October. This year’s competition was the most difficult compared to all the previous and included 35 teams from 8 different institutions. Our teams solved the same number of problems as the gold medalists, with only a slight difference in time.
Our students gave their best effort, proudly representing GUST, and they did so admirably. One of the teams has qualified for the Arab and Africa Championship, which will take place in Luxor, Egypt, this December.
Dr. Fadi Dib will begin preparing the teams immediately for the next KCPC, ensuring the department continues to build on this success.
