Introduction
Today, leading a health care organization takes more than the ability to treat patients. In managerial roles, healthcare workers need to balance financial responsibilities, competitive pressure, workforce management, and resource planning to streamline the health delivery system. As the entities delivering health services have grown more corporate and complex, the need to acquire formal managerial and business skills has become critical for all professionals aiming at playing leading roles in the optimization of healthcare performance.
This is a non-degree granting, transformative online practical program tailored to Healthcare Workers’ specific leadership needs for multidisciplinary knowledge & skills in hospital management associated with the intended learning outcomes.It is a practicum with more than 30 management tools to augment HCWs’ talents in an interactive environment with peers from across the globe.
Who Should Attend
Audience:
- Healthcare workers aiming at improving their skills in healthcare management, quality & leadership.
Qualifications:
- Education of not less than a Bachelor’s degree or what is equivalent as technical degree (such as a Technical Baccalaureate) in the domain of expertise related to the healthcare field.
- And/or Experience not less than 1 year in the domain of expertise in a health care organization.
- Professional conduct is required.

Training Learning Outcomes
1. Define and implement healthcare management processes in a systematic methodology for organizational development and a holistic performance model (5Ds & 7Ps)
2. Identify the healthcare systems its components and key factors and identify the different areas of healthcare international and local standards.
3. Acquire multi-disciplinary knowledge in the various healthcare management areas such as management, safety, accreditation, HC business, people-centric care, etc. to become more educable in these fields.
4. Practice & implement the mainstream tools used in healthcare management and organizational development and apply some of them in simulated and real sites.
5. Acquire basic knowledge of technology, marketing, and innovation in healthcare.
6. Acquire a quality, profitability, and patient-centered culture.
7. Describe and classify the various leadership approaches used in healthcare settings

Special features
Upon completion of the program, trainees will receive a Diploma from GATES and the Syndicate of Hospitals in Lebanon and an additional Certificate from TRACCERT Canada.This program is accredited by KIMS, participants will get CME points accordingly.Certificate of Completion is issued to participants who pass all the evaluation criteria: attend the designated training dates, engage in hands-on practicum, complete a few assignments, pass the short exams, and prepare and defend an improvement application project.Certificate of Attendance is issued for the participants who partially fulfill the evaluation criteria.Any merit/distinction certification should be strictly given to those who complete all the evaluation requirements with a total grade:
- Between 86 and 90/100 (for Merit Certification)
- Above 90/100 (for certificate of Distinction)
