Message from Dean
In an environment in which the only constant is change, quality education calls for educators and students alike to engage in new and innovative teaching and learning approaches capable of addressing both immediate concerns and long-term aspirations. To this end, education should inspire imagination and expand horizons, whilst providing students with knowledge, skills, and competencies that are necessary to build successful careers. This is what we proudly do at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST).
We pride ourselves on our outstanding undergraduate programs in Accounting, Management & Organizational Behavior, International Business, Finance, Marketing, and Management Information Systems (MIS), and our graduate Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Our programs run within a very disciplined, yet friendly, environment – essential for nurturing educational values and promoting independent thinking. Learning is reinforced by the close interactions between faculty and students that extends beyond the classroom and supports our student-centered approach. Consistent with the University’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, the faculty of the College of Business Administration is a group of outstanding academic practitioners representing all parts of the world.
We are the first private college of Business in Kuwait to be accredited by AACSB, with less than 5 percent of the Business schools worldwide to have earned this prestigious Accreditation. Faculty and staff at the CBA strive to provide our students with top quality education that is based, amongst other things, on AACSB international accreditation, impactful research-informed teaching, thought leadership, applied learning and entrepreneurial skills, case study competitions, consultancy workshops, and student exchange programs with partner institutions in North America, Europe, and Asia. By expanding and strengthening its ties to the Kuwait business community to incorporate hands-on experience, the College has successfully placed increasing numbers of GUST graduates in many of the country’s most prominent companies and organizations.
